I feel your spirit heavy today.

You’re not here in the flesh, but there are still so many things I want to say to you.

I’m so grateful I had such an incredible woman to look up to.

Thank you for the 56 hours of labor it took to bring me into this world. Thank you for nurturing me, for teaching me everything you knew, for never letting me down, and for refusing to let me fail.

Thank you for every opportunity you gave me, for every path you paved before I even knew I’d walk it.

Thank you for loving my father so deeply that he felt he couldn’t live without you. You were the heartbeat of our family. A force. A woman of strength, passion, and perseverance.

Thank you for always striving for more—for never settling.

Thank you for not being perfect but always working on yourself and showing me how to live with grace through flaws.

You were an inspiration in every sense. You still are.

I see you every time I look in the mirror—my twin, my reflection.

It’s beautiful. And it hurts all at once.

Being a mother is one of the hardest things to do.

To carry life, to raise it, and then to release it into a world that isn’t always kind—while still cradling, protecting, and loving through every stage—that is a divine calling. And I’m so thankful God chose you for it.

Thank you for every kindness, every ounce of love.

I know you’re in the best hands now.

And I know, one day, I’ll see you again.

With all my love,

Your daughter,

Blue
